Observation notes: These butterflies were seen about half-way up the Alpine Ridge Trail from the Alpine Visitor's Center at Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. Elevation at the top of the trail is at 12,005'. Temperatures were in the mid-60's with partly cloudy skies.
