Coordinator notes: From what I've been able to determine using the catalogue at MPG, this might well be Catocala relicta, the White Underwing. But it's impossible for me to be certain. There are many Catocola sp. in North America, and most of their caterpillars are poorly documented or completely undocumented. Sorry I can't be more specific than the genus level. JRains
