Coordinator notes: Male of species. Obviously a freshly hatched specimen from overwintering chrysalid. Typical early spring form - small size, dusky underside scaling, narrow forewing border, lack of orange shading. We were experiencing sub-zero temps less than two weeks prior, I've observed this same specimen since Feb 27th lazily finding the few dandelions starting to bloom in lawn. This was a net/photo/release.
