Coordinator notes: I will follow the National Park's list here, but the Common Checkered Skipper does occur in Santa Barbara County as well, I know. I collected specimens off Hwy. 33 and submitte them for genitalic determination which turned out to e both species from a same locality-Ken Davenport Genomic differences apparently stand out between the two.
