Observation notes: Crawling in grass more than flying. Wings closed when not flying. When seen flying, briefly, tops of wings looked dark not blue. Sunny, warm, moderate breeze. Seen in the bottom of an arroyo, where the breeze was less noticeable and it was warmer than surroundings.
