Observation notes: I believe this particular catepillar spun its cacoon during the few days after these photos were taken on my tent.

Coordinator notes: The emergent adult should be photographed and sent to Kelly Richers for examination. Larvae are very problematic to ID.Almost certainly Orgyia, probably vetusta.
