Observation notes: Two Wild Indigo Duskywings were spending considerable time sizing up the crown vetch which has found it's way onto the Bombay Hook refuge. The first one never landed, but I managed a few photos of the 2nd individual. The ventral view does show a faint mid FW cell end dot, but it's small size and it's attraction to crown vetch convinces me of Wild Indigo species. It was never observed laying eggs. I checked the Kent County, DE list and found both of these sp. missing. The Wild Indigo Duskywing was found by both Chris Herz and myself. From the list it appears that this county has been under explored or under reported.
