Observation notes: Found in tall, grassy area below a pond in South Central Missouri Ozarks during mid-day. Sorry my photos aren't better quality, wasn't able to get quite as close as I'd liked. Please let me know if this ID is not correct. It was viewed by Betsy Betros, author of PHOTOGRAPHIC FIELD GUIDE to the BUTTERFLIES in the KANSAS CITY REGION, and she verified the ID.
