Coordinator notes: Eumorpha vitis has a small "cross-bar" on the forewing near the body which connects the trailing and leading edges of the wing--this seems evident in this sighting photo despite the blurriness of the moving wings. Eumorpha fasciatus does not have this "cross-bar".
