Observation notes: This moth was seen on the outside plaster wall of the Nature House, near the estuary of Goldstream creek in Goldstream Park, outside of Victoria BC. The moth, the only one on the wall - which is unusual - was motionless at 10:00 am in the morning of a cold 4 dg C day. There had been heavy rain several days earlier and heavy fog that morning in the canyon.
