Observation notes: The moth was sitting motionless at 7:30 pm on the exterior stonework of Spenser Castle on Summit Hill. The temperature was about 3 dg C. and the sky was overcast but there had been no rain all day. The moth was not in the same place the next morning at 9:00 am.
