Observation notes: on nectar of creosote bush before flower is even open, mid eighties clear sky windy dry. our usual visitor when we wash dishes, they come for moisture. this male and a female also. The camp host said they had a puddle party of 25 gph while washing down the cement. there are lots of cat claw and mesquite trees. they are loaded with mistletoe, most of the area around the springs and valley have these trees.never thought i would see the day that these seemed common to me. we have been very lucky! ken looks like the rains have all missed you guys in the bakers field true desert. The storm track should drop again, keep your fingers crossed.
