Observation date: June 29, 2014
Submitted by: rosymaplemoth21
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The insect stayed relatively still on a windowsill for about 30 minutes, until nearby human interference caused it to move, eject a light brownish, mucus-like fluid from its back side, and shake as if it was shivering. After the human left, the moth flew away.
