Everlasting Bud Moth
Eublemma minima (Guenée, 1852)
Family: Erebidae
Subfamily: Eublemminae
Identification: Forewing cream to tan with fine, slightly darker lines and broad, olive brown median and st. shade lines. Median shade continues onto scale tuft which projects over hindwing. Darker apical and anal spots. Hindwing grayish brown, darker at outer margin.
Wing Span: 1.1-1.5 cm.
Life History:
Flight: All months in Florida, where it is common.
Caterpillar Hosts: Buds of sweet and pearly everlasting, rabbit tobacco.

Range: North Carolina to Florida, west along the Gulf Coast to Texas.
