Identification: Forewing elongate and gray with several dark wavy lines.
Wing Span: 3.4 cm. Females are wingless
Life History:
Flight: Adults are nocturnal; fly in early winter, usually November and December.
Caterpillar Hosts: Many flowering trees in shrubs, such as ash, cherry and oak.
Adult Food:
Habitat: Woodlands.
Range: British Columbia south to California
