Identification: Forewing bright pink, with yellow in lower basal area and beyond st. line. Median area may have yellow tinting, with pink reniform spot and st. line distinct. Hindwing white.
Wing Span: 2.7-3.6 cm.
Life History:
Flight: July-August.
Caterpillar Hosts: Biennial guara and other species of evening-primrose.
