Identification: Forewing is dark black-gray, usually with yellow-tan highlights along viens. Wing edges scalloped.

Flight: One or more flights from January to July. Adults are nocturnal.
Caterpillar Hosts: Hollyleaf redberry (F. ilicifolia), coffeeberry (Rhamnus occidentalis) reported.

Habitat: Open habitats, woodlands and wet forests.
Range: Oregon south to California
