Identification: Forewing upperside is uniform olive-brown with lighter brown along the outer margin. Hindwing upperside is brown with some paler spots.
Wing Span: 2 7/8 - 3 3/8 inches (7.3 - 7.9 cm).

Flight: . Several broods from April-August.
Caterpillar Hosts: Palicourea grandifolia in the madder family (Rubiaceae).
Adult Food: Probably flower nectar.

Range: Southern Brazil north to Cuba and south Florida.
