Identification: The forewing is white with variable orange-brown to blackish-brown markings that can usually be distinguished from the two similar species listed below. The northern population are usually the lighter orange-brown color.
Wing Span: ♂ 0.66–1.26 cm. (n=43) 43 specimens examined. ♀ 1.05–1.32 cm. (n=16)
