Observation notes: Attracted to MV lamp / blacklight set up along margin of mixed pine-hardwood stand with dense understory. Part of larger residential parcel with freshly mowed yard and small horse pasture. Presence of thin white ST line quickly eliminates P. honestaria. A combination of factors make me believe this to be P. acetaria, not P. morrisonaria: (1) overall, weak mottling of FW; (2) absence of pale spots near FW apex; (3) serration of HW margin is relatively shallow; and (4) distal third of HW is fairly dark and lacking yellow tones.
